About me

Hi. My name is Russell, and I'm from Bordon. I work as a part-time lifeguard and sales assistant, but my true passion and obsession is photography.

I picked up my first camera on a family holiday to Australia. Everyone else had a camera, some more professional then others, and I was starting to feel left out. I convinced Dad it was a good idea that I give it a go and, after many hours of begging, I got my first camera and first taste of photography. That I could now capture everything I could see was a marvel to my then-young self, especially in a country as beautiful as Australia.

From there, I began studying all different types of photography from landscape to macro, bringing my own perspective to the art. I knew that this was what I wanted to do with my life, and so went on to study at Alton College qualifying with an A Level degree.

I'm now trying to move on from amateur photographer into something more serious, and hope to make a career from it.
